We are currently undergoing a business expansion and are upgrading our electrical control system and integrating all equipment, by converting to a new Programmable Logic Control (PLC) system. Applicants must have experience with converting obsolete electrical systems, heat treating equipment and temperature controllers. We require an Electrical Technician with experience in programming, conversion, maintenance and trouble shooting to oversee the upgrading and expansion process. This position involves both shift and on-call work according to maintenance and troubleshooting requirements.
Atlantic Heat Treating (2001) Ltd. is a company that heat treats metals for tool and die makers. This process involves the use of large electrically controlled and measured furnaces, which operate at very high temperatures and therefore require considerable maintenance. We require a qualified candidate who understands the complexity of our equipment and can provide troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
