As a long time employee of the company I am happy to say that many of my coworkers are also long term employees. Opportunity is available to those who would work hard, show initiative and thrive on being part of a dynamic team that rewards effort and focuses on customer service. Many of the people I started with almost 15 years ago started in humble beginnings and rose to manage areas or lead teams or become experts in product or service areas. They grew with company and continue to find good roots here. The customer experience is essential in all areas of the company and it feels good to be a part of an organization that values the client experience so highly, we know we don't have to push junk out the door, quality matters and pride in our work abounds. In every job you have good days and bad days but a resilient team supports each other and thats what I am happy to say exists for me here.

as a current employee @ Astley Gilbert (10+ years ) I can honestly say it is not a very good company to work for.Upper management is aware of many day to day problems that effect morale and do nothing to change it.There are very few chances to move up in this company and you can forget about pay increases( many long term employees have not had pay increases in over 10 years, some never). People that do leave are not replaced and there responsibilities are dumped on already overworked staff. I honestly believe that if there were more jobs available in the print industry there would be a revolving door @ Astley.
