Join a premier supplier of heavy haul transportation equipment to the World… Aspen Custom Trailers is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company poised for ongoing growth and seeking a results oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to become a member of their accounting team.
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this position will be responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient office operations. Your days will be kept busy as you prepare work orders, verify and process invoices, and maintain all export documents. Month end and year end reconciliations will be a regular part of your duties. You will track commissions and advances, post payments and collections, record checks and cash remittances, and handle bank runs as required.
Your qualifications will include a minimum of two years experience in accounting in a computerized, team environment and you have an accounting diploma and/or are currently pursuing an accounting designation. Good communication skills are essential for this role as you will interact with employees and suppliers to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of data.
Detail-oriented people who take pride in 100% accuracy and who love being part of a close-knit team will be successful in this environment. You must also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent organizational skills, because there is a lot to do and tight deadlines to work within. Exceptional computer skills are vital!
