We are seeking driven independent sales professionals that enjoy building relationships and working in an environment where productivity and results are rewarded.
As a Nutraceutical Sales Broker, you are accountable for establishing and maintaining strong relationships and increasing sales within existing accounts, while prospecting for new accounts.
Brokers work in close collaboration with the Ascenta Professional Business Development Manager and dedicate their efforts based on a route system in their assigned territory. Travel is also occasionally required for company sponsored seminars and conferences.
Compensation for this role is commission-based.
Ascenta Professional is looking for Brokers based out of the following locations:
Ontario - Toronto (GTA), Northern Ontario and Southwestern Ontario
British Columbia - Vancouver, Victoria & Greater Kelowna
Alberta - Calgary and Edmonton.
Deliver profitable new business revenue growth in assigned territory
Responsible for hunting/prospecting and closing business across assigned territory
Initiate sales calls and work assigned prospects, leads, and self-prospects within a given time frame to capture new customers
Establish, follow, and grow sales routes across assigned territory, achieving new business revenue growth
Attend marketing opportunities such as seminars and trade shows within assigned territory
Bachelor's degree is required (particularly business, marketing, or related field)
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a dedicated sales environment
Industry experience is preferred. Nutritional product experience an asset
Proven experience in an outside sales capacity, including prospecting calls
Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota for new business
Highly organized and able to effectively manage sales route schedule in assigned territory
Ability to sell to and manage customer relationships with naturopathic doctors, chiropractors, optometrists, nutritionists, with a consistently high level of professionalism
Responsible for closing new business using a consultative sales approach
Training experience would be considered an asset
