Jack Singer Concert Hall (Former Employee) – Calgary, Canada – 7 September 2015
There were a variety of events leading to many shifts. We had our call time. We would have a briefing about the event and a chance to have a coffee or mingle with co workers before the lobby doors opened. Once they did we were on guard to monitor the people coming in, making sure they had the correct tickets for the event. We made them feel welcome and directed them to the facilities and answered any questions they had and helped any way we could.
Once the house doors opened, we showed patrons to their seats, made sure all alcoholic drinks were in plastic cups, also made sure that there was no food being brought in to the theatre. Again we helped people in any way possible and had to resolve issues as they arose.
Once the lights went out and the show started, we had to do late seating and make sure there was no recording or photography.
At the end of the night, we met again with our managers to discuss the night and any issues that arose and how we handled them.
