Arowhon Pines is well known for its friendly, personable and capable staff. We look for individuals who want to display genuine hospitality to all of our guests, who are responsible, open to learning our methods and can represent Arowhon Pines on and off duty.
. -Cleaning all dining room and kitchen dishes and equipment via automatic dishwasher
-Putting away dishes and equipment in its proper location
-Cleaning BY HAND any fragile, expensive dishes or non-dishwasher safe items.
Keeping clean and tidy all staff areas around the kitchen - staff dining room (tables, walls, shelves, floors, etc), hose down and scrub the staff picnic table , pick up cigarette butts on the grounds, rake up are outside near staff area and back loading dock area
- Sweep, scrub, mop and clean after each service all kitchens – including in corners, behind doors, underneath ovens and counters and in fridges and freezers.
- Garbage - keep clean and tidy the pot & dish area, recycling bin, garbage areas, bins inside and outside the kitchen. Clean and disinfect garbage cans nightly. Empty garbage when full into outside garbage shed. Double bag all heavy garbage. Break down cardboard and separate.
On your off time you are free to enjoy the beauty of Algonquin Park by canoeing, kayaking, sailing, hiking and more. We are open from May 31st to October 13th, 2014, you must be available to work during this period.
$11.00-15.00 per hour paid bi-weekly plus a contract completion bonus to a maximum of $4.00 per hour paid upon completion of your contract. Full room and board provided at $50-$60 per week.
