Shipper & Receiver (Former Employee) – Ottawa, ON – 12 May 2014
Could never complain always expected the best out of me!

Distrubution Centre Trainer (Current Employee) – Burnaby, BC – 20 August 2017
Great place to work if you know someone there to help you get ahead. Or you can go what most girls do and sleep with a supervisor you'll def get ahead that way. But if you went to school for a related field and work hard be prepared to be overlooked for a pretty, young thing.
Good student work if you just want to clock in and out
Merchandise Manager and Floor Manager (Former Employee) – Vancouver, BC – 21 July 2017
Very poor work life balance along with fear based leadership made experience difficult. Work always had to come first, especially in management roles. Training was very good and very positive and taught me a lot of skills
For a first retail job... It was as fun as it could be!
Seasonal Employee (Current Employee) – Oshawa, ON – 28 June 2017
Always a positive environment! Never had any issues with any of the other full time employees or management. Learned some great ways to fold clothes and how to keep the store neat! Loved the fact that no matter the sale, no matter how busy the store was it was never a mess!
Great employees, and management. Decent pay. Great experience for a first retail job.
Seasonal hours are not the greatest, but for a full time student they were kind of great.
Warehouse Supervisor (Former Employee) – Burnaby, BC – 14 June 2017
The work hours as a supervisor were inconsistent. If it's busy you are expected to stay which makes sense but when it is slow there is no reciprocation as well as the contracted 45 hour work week. Duties are highly distributed out with little cross department learning and brainstorming. They are very committed to promoting from within which is good to build team morale.
This is a company that I would go back to because of the amount of knowledge I acquired from working for the company. I was trained on the job and was always encouraged to ask questions and work with in a team setting.
Style Advisor (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 23 May 2017
A typical day at work: Aritzia has a very competitive work environment, especially working as a sales associate or style advisor. Therefore, it is very busy and it is important to be able to multi task and work efficiently.
What you learned: To multitask, cliental and service customers efficiently, work in a team setting.
Management: Management is very efficient and focuses on efficiency and work ethic. They can be strict, however they are very caring.
Workplace culture: Workplace culture is diverse and very friendly.
The hardest part of the job: The hardest part of the job would have to be to maintain a high, consistent sph (sales per hour). This is a very important aspect of the job.
The most enjoyable part of the job: This would have to be working with a great team, that is very happy and upbeat. Passionate about driving sales and working together in a team setting.
Great work environment, great co-workers and team environment
Fun workplace and brings great personal development
Lead Shipper & Receiver (Former Employee) – Thornhill, ON – 19 May 2017
An environment that will grow you to become the person you are today. The personal development made here, being employed by this company is very difficult to describe with words, it's more of a do it yourself experience, and you will understand how from your first day working with the company, and how different you are after a couple years.
long hours and you rarely finish on the exact finish time that founded on your schedule
Style Advisor (Former Employee) – Newmarket, ON – 17 May 2017
It was a fun workplace. It helped me a lot with communication. I would help clients find outfits. All the ladies were great and friendly. I worked in a team and by myself. There was always someone to help you out.
Sales Associate (Former Employee) – Waterloo, ON – 18 April 2017
I have worked at different Aritzia locations and I find there is a lot of turnover because the company is sales driven and working with an entire group of females can be quite difficult. An employee is scheduled based on the amount of sales she makes during her shift and that can vary day to day, which will then affect how many hours you work in the week, which doesn't provide any type of job security.
