Arnprior Aerospace Inc. combines facilities from Canada, the United States, and Mexico to develop and manufacture aerospace structure and components for North America’s largest aerospace companies. We are recruiting for Operations/Manufacturing Management at our Arnprior, Ontario location.

Located less than 30 minutes from the national capital region, Arnprior supplies endless outdoor activities including camping, fishing, hunting, white water rafting, cycling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • lead people, develop and mentor team members to meet company goals
  • lead and facilitate key initiatives that support the business plan
  • maintain a healthy core business as it pertains to QCDSM
  • manage manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, assembly, special processes, equipment and facility
  • liaise with customers, suppliers and manufacturing support
  • analyze, interpret, summarize defect data and prepare reports
  • maintain process disciplines and compliance and improve processes using continuous quality improvement
  • assure a safe and healthy workplace/environment
  • manage daily labour reporting
  • champion 5S and safety activity in the shop

Mandatory Job Requirements

  • Aerospace and/or Engineering education or equivalent experience

Additional Qualifications

  • university degree in engineering
  • continuous education in a management related field and technical related field (CATIA, SPC, etc.)
  • team leadership (cross-functional/kaizen), presentation skills, problem solving and analytical skills
  • thorough knowledge of ERP systems
  • business case development and project management experience
  • understand blue prints, parts lists and mylars, general knowledge of process and standard specifications
  • understanding of aerospace configuration management system
  • chemical process management experience
  • computer skills in MS Office suite, mentoring and coaching skills
  • knowledge of JIT/Lean production techniques and practices, 5S/CQI and safety programs and their application and Program Logic Control systems operation & maintenance
  • familiar with OH&S rules and regulations
  • knowledge of operations research and total predictive maintenance
