Arnprior Aerospace Inc. combines facilities from Canada, the United States and Mexico, to develop and manufacture aerospace structure and components for North America’s largest aerospace companies. We are recruiting for a *Commodity Manager* at our Arnprior, Ontario location. Located less than 30 minutes from the national capital region, Arnprior supplies endless outdoor activities including camping, fishing, hunting, white water rafting, cycling.

Key Responsibilities
 Lead and develop savings strategies across multi supplier contracts
 Source, negotiate and develop new and strong vendor relations
 Develop commodity strategy to achieve cost reduction
 Develop global sourcing strategy
 Lead supplier performance reviews
 Lead ongoing continuous improvement activities
 Apply best procurement practices and processes
 Provide leadership for the management of ongoing supplier relationships and processes
 Assist with procurement processes (quotations, RFI, RFQ, RFP and tenders), evaluations of proposals, supplier negotiations and debriefing of unsuccessful suppliers
 Work in partnership with clients
 Ensure effective communication between team members
 Manage key risks on behalf of the Procurement Division
 Manage risks related to supply chain and procurement as it relates to sole source and single source part numbers and commodities
 Develop and review strategy for inbound and outbound freight rates.

Mandatory Job Requirements
 College Degree in a Business Field or Equivalent Experience
 PMAC or CPP Designation

 Six Sigma
 APICS Certification
 Excellent negotiation skills
 Ability to lead continuous improvement activities
 Knowledge of ISO based Quality Systems
 Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite
 Effective organizational skills with ability to multitask
 Experience working in a team based environment
