Arnprior Aerospace Inc. combines facilities from Canada, the United States, and Mexico to develop and manufacture aerospace structure and components for North America’s largest aerospace companies. We are recruiting for a Business Planner at our Arnprior, Ontario location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare responses to "Requests for Quotation" including review and analysis of statement of work requirements, costs, and prices
  • Develop responses to numerous financial and finance-related internal and external customer requests
  • Prepare financial analysis to assess the impact of strategic actions on product line and company performance
  • Participate on teams supporting the preparation of the annual financial business plan (budget) and forecast updates
  • Execute queries to extract relevant business information from ERP system related to revenue, cost, inventory and manufacturing activity
  • Develop reports and presentations to understand and improve business processes
  • Work closely with finance and business management groups to investigate and report on financial transactions and exceptions
  • Communicate with internal and external customers
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management
  • Respond to adhoc requests for information, analysis and reports

Mandatory Job Requirements:

  • University degree in Business / Finance / Accounting
  • Advanced level of proficiency using MS excel
  • Ability to work with ERP systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Additional Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in recognized accounting program (CA, CMA, CGA)
  • Demonstrated ability with large volumes of data and scenarios (what-if?) analysis
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting & cost analysis
  • Experience working with large volumes of data in relational databases
  • Medium to advanced level of proficiency using MS access and data query tools
  • Planning and analysis skills in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work in a multi-faceted team environment and balance competing priorities
  • Process oriented approach to problem solving
  • High degree of creativity and resourcefulness
  • Comfort in dealing with all levels in the organization
