Cons: downsizing, lacking clear direction from the top down
Management in some areas are clueless and disruptive to science. This happens anywhere, not special to Amgen. However, Sr. Management is now all about the bottom line, and the Scientific Method cannot be governed by silly deadlines and budgets. Great place to work, flexible hours, good pay. great people, working with new science is amazing..... until – more... they accelerate the program into the ground and make million dollar business decisions on limited data. – less

Quality Control Analyst (Former Employee), Woburn, MA – January 14, 2014
Pros: some good employees to work with
Cons: terrible management and training
From the first day I started I was in a very negative environment. There was no team attitude at all. It was every man for himself with people talking behind everyone's back and no direction at all from management. The training was extremely poor I would never want to work under the same management again.
