Nice atmosphere, little growth chance
Chargeback Analyst (Current Employee), Thorofare, NJ – August 28, 2012
Pros: low healthcare costs, overtime available
Cons: low chance for growth
Nice people, fun atmosphere, little chance for upward mobility.
Typical day consists of working daily variance lines that come in, and answering vendor questions and assisting them with any concerns about their account. Also special projects helping with other analyst's workloads may be assigned by management. There is a lot of work that comes in daily, – more... but once this is managed there is little difficulty in the job. The atmosphere and everyone willing to help one another was the most enjoyable part of the job – less

Excellent place to work, they provided free popcorn, coffee and hot chocolate the best part was the fast pace it allowed me to stay fit
Order Filler (Former Employee), Lockbourne, OH – August 26, 2012
Pros: incentives
Cons: three hours between breaks, and no dental or vision
fast pace job always busy which I liked because it made the day go by quicker.I learned a lot about pharmaceuticals and what their used for, Amerisource was a pharmaceutical company.Management was great at least the ones I had the pleasure of working with.My co-workers, couldn't have ask for a better group of people to work with we became like family – more... everyone look out for one another. Not only at work but outside of work. The hardest part of my job was the 3 hour break stretch, we were constantly on are feet and moving at a fast pace for 3 hours from 2 hour stretches, it was to much. the most enjoyable part of my job was customer satisfaction, It just made you feel like " job well done " it made you feel proud to be apart of it. – less

A good place to work at
Computer Operator (Former Employee), Morrisville, NC – August 21, 2012
Pros: able to do my job under no supervistion.
Cons: the computer room being so cold, spring summer, fall and winter alike.
Atypical day was busy, involved several tasks everyday day and quite busy and as years progressed, there was alot of upgrades that make the daily load easier and easier. I worked with the best crew ever since my work history, unity and team work was great.

Decent pay and good benefits . Not a fun work enviroment .
Order filling lead (Former Employee), Williamston, MI – August 16, 2012
Pros: good benefits, decent pay and the company itself has good values .
Cons: they do not promote much from with in . work schedule seems to change quite often .
Stretching - meeting to start the day and then pick up RF units and move to your designated Department to fill orders .
I learned about the warehouse environment and daily operations .
Management needed work . Did not trust the employees or show a lot of respect for what they accomplish and do everyday .
The hardest part of the job was dealing with – more... the management . Work was easy and somewhat enjoyable .
The most enjoyable part of the job is knowing you are serving the customer . People need the health care products and the products help save lives .
All of this is based on the warehouse i worked in and not the other DC through out the Company . I helped four other divisions in four other states that didn't seem to have the same management issues. – less

A good Company though I prefer more autonomy
Senior Tax Analyst (Former Employee), Chesterbrook, PA – August 6, 2012
Pros: relationships with co-workers
Cons: too many schedule links
I was in charge of preparing the federal pro-forma and multi state/local income tax returns for assigned corporations from reception of the trial balance to processing in OneSource tax system. I learned what is involved in the processing of Form 1099-MISC. The most enjoyable part of the job was seeing the entire process from beginning to end. The hardest – more... part was the inability to adjust any schedules/workpapers for greater efficiency because they were linked. Management valued professional education for all employees and included seminar on a regular basis. I formed strong bonds with my co-workers. – less

GREAT place to work if you're into shackles & chains!!
Oncology nurse educator (Former Employee), Frisco, Texas – August 6, 2012
Pros: loved the nurses i worked with.
Cons: zero work/life balance!! well unless your b/f/f happens to be the director of nursing. in that case, you get promotion after promotion & an office w/ a view!!
Oh where, oh where do I begin?!?! As a registered nurse of 15 yrs & oncology certified, I have NEVER worked at a place with such total disrespect for their employees!! If your "shift" is 8 a.m. To 5 p.m., you better make sure you are in your shackles by 8!! If God forbid a child falls ill at school, you fall ill in the middle of your day, or anything – more... else life throws at you...you will be "awarded" w/ an occurrence!! Oh...and please keep in mind, your work day consists of telephone calls, NOT direct patient care! So please explain to me how leaving an hr early to pick up your dead dog off the pavement after being run down by a semi, really affects ANYONE!? And as far as your nursing knowledge...forget it!! You read from a script & cannot under ANY circumstances, offer your expert suggestions or opinions. Worst of all? This company has their clients (pharm companies) completely SNOWED!! They are in breech of contract on a daily, if not hourly basis!!
This place is a JOKE!!! ***BEWARE to any real professional*** You will be sorely disappointed!!!! – less

dees – September 15, 2012

Was phone nurse at Rockville MD location. Terrible HR policies, was fired for being late back from lunch (after I got sick) even though I was salaried and always worked late, but the real reason was my boss asked me not to file federally mandated Regulatory reports and I refused. She knew nothing about nursing, told me my patient support conversations (which were recorded but we never told them) were inappropriate because I was too friendly, even though my patients loved my services

Very fast pasted and kept you on your toes
Factory Worker (Former Employee), Wilkes barre Pa – August 1, 2012
Pros: very hands on and kept me busy
Cons: not to much of a friendly place
Go into work then begin my job simple. Moving boxes from slefs to pallets and wrapping them, then storing them away in order and neatly, take inventory then move on to the next task.

Williamston DC Managed on Greed and Arrogance
Order Filler (Former Employee), Williamston Division – July 28, 2012
Pros: nice parking lot.
Cons: continued destruction with no accountability including corporate!
The Williamston Division; Horrible unethical visionary with destructive leadership abilities, skilled at ruining teams, with no knowledge in change in a competitive and complex business environment. Proficient at destroying morale. Horrible decision-makers with weak problem-solving and organizational skills. Inability to smoothly manage complex and – more... conflicting needs in a dynamic environment.
Total destruction to senior workers just to increase revenue by bringing in temp workers and conniving the new lower paid workers allowing them for promotion. Destroyer of career development. Arrogant management, who wants to be labeled as mentors yet lack so much respect. No loyalty what so ever endorsed by a greedy company! – less

A day at work involved collecting yearly fire dues, interacting with residents and neighborhood businesses. I learned how to conduct financial info for monthly board meetings. I enjoyed having a close fraternity with fire fighters learning the dangers of the job.

Worse Company to work for
Patient Case Coordinator (Former Employee), Charlotte, NC – July 19, 2012
Cons: all the above
This has to be the worse company I ever worked for. Management is like none I've ever seen. Very protective of their positions and have to be a "company" person or your out. Management treats you like children. No chance of advancement unless you become one of "them". DO NOT WORK FOR THEM, YOU WILL REGRET IT.

A great place to get your foot in the door if you are just looking for a job.
Stocker / Returns Clerk (Current Employee), Raleigh NC – July 18, 2012
A typical work day is your basic 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It has been times when we had to work late but I think that comes with the territory when working for any job. The co workers easy to get along with. All of our different personalities do vibe with each other. There is nothing hard about the job, just tend to be a little micromanged from time to – more... time but overall the job is great. Just like any other job the best part is cleaning up and finishing for the day. – less

Don't smile or show any happiness or you're a not serious worker.
Warehouse Stocker (Former Employee), Williamston, Mi – July 7, 2012
Pros: had some good friends.
Cons: good managers who became tarnished
Abusive management — the kind who uses his or her authority to torment subordinates. Bullying bosses, often with the goal of humiliating. They write up false evaluations to put good workers’ jobs at risk. Serial bullies, targeting one worker and, when he or she is gone, moving on to their next victim.
The Williamston DC forced out half of their senior – more... workers to bring in temp to hire workers. Torment to quit, or frustrate to react, then released..
A top fortune 500 company who allows this unethical behavior:( – less

It was a pleasure to work for a company that is growing in the right direction and takes care of their employees.
Order Filler (Former Employee), Romeoville, IL – July 7, 2012
I felt the work I did every day makes a difference to the people we live around and our community. I knew when I went home that I truly did something meaningful and important. My managers encouraged me to grow and welcome my feedback and ideas. I was treated as an important member of the team.

Multifaceted yet disappointing
National Purchasing Manager (Former Employee), Chesterbrook, PA – June 22, 2012
Typical work day required a multifaceted response to a variety of challenges.
Learned valuable insights into the behind the scenes operations and priorities of a Pharma Wholsale operation.
Co-workers were for the most part hard working and dedicated but unrecognized beyond a superficial level.
Hardest part of the job was working in a very conservative – more... culture resistant to change and abstracted from the pragmatic realities of the mission statement and tacit assumptions that underlined their business model.
Most enjoyed working within a dynamic team but whose efforts proved eventually to no avail. – less
