  • Must be a recent graduate of a business or marketing program
  • Experience in fund development
  • Financial management skills
  • Media management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle

Some responsibilities include

  • Assist in the development of short-term and long-term revenue generation plans
  • Assist in the development and expansion of special events and revenue generation activities
  • Coordinate all fundraising events including recruitment of volunteers, management of media relations, and detailed preparations for all events
  • Manage memorial donations, revenue generation and accountability
  • Receipting and miscellaneous tasks in line with the noted tasks
  • Increase awareness for Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias
  • Represent the Society on community and/or internal committees as requested

Eligibility Criteria as outlined by NOHFC
Candidate must be a recent (within 3 years) graduate from an accredited college or university with qualifications in a field of study that is related to the employment offered, and this must be first time work experience in their field of study. In addition, the field of study must align to the position being hired into. This is a temporary (1 year) position, starting wage at $16/hr.
