Aloud Creative is looking for an unpaid full / part time digital designer intern to join our exciting and dynamic team. The ideal candidate should be able to communicate and work efficiently in a group environment with members of diverse background as well as work and think creatively with minimum to no supervision on his or her own. The candidate must be comfortable working on a range of different projects, including identity design, graphic design, print design and web design. This position offers flexible hours, diverse opportunity to work on different medias, plenty of room for creativity and personal growth as well as opportunities to strengthen your portfolio. Students and recent graduates are welcomed.


  • A portfolio with some previous work
  • Strong visual, interactive, illustration and graphic design skills
  • Highly skillful in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign
  • Ability to work on design work of different form, including identity design, graphic design, print design and web design

  • High level of proficiency in typography, colouring, spacing, layout and other design concepts and practices
  • Previous experience with HTML, CSS, jQuery and JavaScript is an asset
  • Previous experience with UI/UX design is an asset
  • Previous experience with Adobe Premiere and After Effects is an asset


  • Exceptional time management, organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
  • Effective communication skills; comfortable working in a cultural diverse environment


  • Meeting account managers to discuss the objectives and requirements of each design project
  • Interpret the client’s needs and rapidly develop concepts to suit their purpose
  • Think independently and creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
  • Demonstrate illustrative skills with rough sketches
  • Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
  • Present finalized ideas and concepts to account managers
  • Working with a wide range of media and different types of designs
  • Working as part of a team with copywriters, photographers, illustrators, developers, account managers and marketing specialists
