Ownership
INSURANCE AGENT (Former Employee), Odessa, FLJuly 14, 2014
Pros: setting my own hours.
Cons: responsibility of supporting others, such as employees.
After having owned my own agency I realized ownership was not for me. Several changes took place in the industry in 2007.

The hardest thing would have been keep good employees.

Allstate is a phenominal company to work for
Office Manager (Current Employee), Columbus, GAJuly 11, 2014
Allstate provides an opportunity for those seeking to further their careers in one of the most competitive and successful insurance companies around. I have been very lucky to work with well-established agencies in four different states and the brand pride that agency owners have for their products shows in their service of clients and coworkers alike.

First Job Best Job
Customer Service Rep, Desktop Support (Former Employee), Deltona, FLJuly 10, 2014
Pros: fair pay, strong leadership
Cons: growth was linear
Management was tough, but fair. You knew what you had to do and when it was due by. No micromanaging, and plenty of space given. Compensation was fair for the work you're doing, and some room for growth if you decided to get licensed to sell insurance

MARKETING AGENT (Current Employee), Christiansburg,VaJuly 9, 2014
Pros: helping others
I balance between doing telemarketing for this company and outside marketing. I am currently still employed for Allstate and enjoy my job very much. The agents are very polite and helpful with everything I may need help with. Our owner has been nothing but nice and respectful since I started my employment.

Awesome place to work!
Licensed Sales Producer (Former Employee), Centennial, COJuly 2, 2014
Pros: friendly environment
The hardest part about the job is being able to reach any leads on the phones, sometimes might have to call up to 7-8 different times at different days to get a hold of them. But overall, great work environment, fun co-workers, and awesome manager who always put his employees first to make sure they succeed.

I definitely learned a lot at this job. – more... A lot of reflection on my personal self with the help of my agent. – less

ATO-Service Desk Representative Senior Associate (Former Employee), Roanoke, VAJune 30, 2014
Very flexible with work/life balance. 9+ years there as 1st and 2nd level support desk analyst. The most enjoyable part is the people. The hardest part is the outsourcing of jobs overseas and inevitable layoffs here in the states. I would work there again if given the opportunity.
