Office and customer service clerk
The tasks and responsibilities of the position are as follows:
Tasks associated with office support
Answer the phone and welcome visitors.
Sort mail, faxes and incoming emails.
Coordinate and disseminate corporate announcements (internal newsletters, invitations, etc.).
Organize company’s activities and special events.
Ensure the sharing of information on products, effectively, with all in-house services.
Plan meetings, including travel and hotel reservations.
Prepare and submit expense reports for the sales team.
Perform other related duties.
Tasks associated with customer service
To act as first point of contact for service in responding to internal and external requests by phone or email, or by delegating to its rightful owner.
Follow up with existing and potential customers.
Communicate with customers to solve various problems and exchange information.
Monitoring the current and upcoming promotions.
Manage comments and complaints received with the procedure established within the company to maintain a good relationship with all consumers and clients.
Maintain existing databases on projects, products, customers, etc.
Work closely with other departments including quality control, production and shipping to ensure seamless coordination when sending samples to our customers.
Preparation of import / export documents.
Experiences and skills required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Essential Bilingualism (French and English) oral and written.
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Professionalism and discretion.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to work as a team, communicate with all organizational levels and adapt quickly to changes.
