The tasks and responsibilities of the position are as follows:
Quality control support on production line.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to ensure HACCP and SQF standards are in place.
Preparation of samples for clients.
Establish and verify nutrition labels.
Analyze both raw ingredients and finished products- microbiology analysis.
Preparation of spec sheets.
Standardization and verification of recipes.
B.Sc in Food Science/Nutrition/Microbiology
2-3 years of quality control experience is preferred
Strong knowledge of HACCP norms; SQF is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good record keeping skills and attention to detail
