Successfully audited by the US FDA, Canada TPD, Brazil ANVISA, France AFSSAPS, UK MHRA and Austria AGES regulatory authorities, Algorithme Pharma conducts over 200 clinical trials per year many of which require the development of novel bioanalytical methods. With the recent addition of a US based clinical site the company is preparing for a period of rapid growth which offers opportunities for career development and promotion. We are seeking motivated and experienced Research Scientists and Laboratory Analysts to work in our Large Molecule Bioanalysis (LMB) Department to support our growing R&D services for biological drug development. The ideal candidates will be skilled and motivated scientists or analysts looking for new challenges and career opportunities in a dynamic company.
Research Scientists should be experienced in the application of Ligand Binding techniques to the design, development and validation of innovative bioanalytical assays for the quantitative determination of a variety of biological molecules, including therapeutic proteins, monoclonal antibodies, oligonucleotides and anti-drug antibodies (ADAs) and biomarkers. Additionally, they will be key scientific contacts with clients and will present at scientific meetings, therefore good interpersonal skills are important.
The ideal candidates will have extensive experience with a variety of Ligand Binding technology platforms such as MSD Imager, Luminex and multi-detection mode plate readers as well as with related applications such as Alpha Lisa. They will also have a thorough knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) and previous experience in regulated work environments. Responsibilities will include development of ligand binding methodologies for a wide range of biological molecules in different matrices.
Key personal qualities are strong scientific and communication skills to effectively function in a fast-paced team. We are looking for individuals who are looking to use their skills and experience to help grow a relatively new scientific area at Algorithme Pharma and at the same time open up new opportunities to advance their career.
The candidates will have a relevant Ph.D., M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree with a minimum of 5 years experience in ligand binding. Experience in multiplexing immunoassay platforms, anti-drug antibody methods and basic biochemical techniques is a plus.
We are also looking for immunochemists with immunology (ADA) experience to help expand our capabilities into this area in response to client demands.
Laboratory analysts should be experienced in the use of Ligand Binding techniques for the validation of quantitative bioanalytical assays and study sample analysis. They should also have practical knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) and previous work experience in regulated work environments.
The ideal candidates will have a good general and applied knowledge in immunochemistry, and experience with a variety of Ligand Binding technology platforms such as MSD Imager, Luminex and multi-detection mode plate readers. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, method development and validation, study sample analysis and related technical and documentation tasks.
Key personal qualities are excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, manual dexterity and good communication skills.
The candidates will have a science background with a M.Sc., B.Sc. or college degree and a minimum of 3 years experience in bioanalysis using ligand binding methodologies. Experience in multiplexing immunoassay platforms, anti-drug antibody methods and basic biochemical techniques is a plus.
