Alcohol Countermeasure Systems Corp. is a privately held expanding international group of companies, with the manufacturing headquarters located in Toronto and diverse operations in traffic safety markets. We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Digital Media Specialist for our Toronto, Ontario location, to work with the Communications team in the creation and manipulation of digital media such as websites, photography, video and motion graphics.

  • Creating or editing websites using Dreamweaver/Text Editors as well as Content Management Systems
  • Managing websites using Plesk or cPanel on a dedicated server
  • Photographing products
  • Retouching and manipulating photography
  • Shooting, and editing corporate training and promotional videos
  • Creating motion graphics using After Effects

Winning Profile:


  • Working knowledge of Dreamweaver or a Text Editor and website editing using CMS platforms
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript
  • Working knowledge of PHP or .NET/C# as well as mySQL
  • Professional experience with digital media manipulation
  • Solid knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite required
  • Basic knowledge of eCommerce platforms and tools an asset
  • Very strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel. Must also demonstrate experience working in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work closely with Graphic Designers as part of the Communications team in concept and project development to meet requirements


  • Demonstrated photography and videography skills using Canon cameras (provided on-site)
  • Working knowledge of Final Cut Pro/Premiere, DVD Studio/Encore, multitrack audio software (Audition, Soundtrack Pro, Pro Tools, Logic, etc)
  • Familiarity with narrative and illustrative conventions and techniques in temporal media
  • Ability to assist in planning and scheduling productions and meet deadlines
  • Experience with Macs and PCs, as well as a variety of software applications


  • Portfolio of digital media required. Please include any relevant examples of websites, photography, videography, motion graphics or animation


  • Knowledge and abilities normally acquired through Post-Secondary Education or equivalent combination of work and experience
