Little room for advancement
Customer Service Reservations Agent (Former Employee), Saint John, NBNovember 24, 2014
The job was interesting, but the office environment was micro-managed. Very little room for advancement. However, shift trading made for great schedule flexibility, and the travel allowances were fair.

CSSA / LEAD (Former Employee), Saint John, NBNovember 23, 2014
Pros: co-workerks, health benefits, and ravel priveleges
I began there just before the Ice Storm of 99. Pilot's Strike ... Possible bankruptcy, Taking on another Airline ... change of CEO etc ... and I still loved my job from the first call to the last ... due to circumstances beyond my control I had to leave, but would go back in a heartbeat. I miss my co-workers, the customers and overall atmosphere.

Passenger Sales Agent (Former Employee), Vancouver, BCNovember 18, 2014
Pros: flex hours
I enjoyed the work, and my co-workers. I learnt that the world is a very small place, and enjoyed meeting people from around the world. I felt that I learnt something new every day. Telling passengers, that due to bad weather, flights were delayed. Seeing passengers being meet by friends and family.

Other than the flight benefits that were included in the job, it felt like your back was always against the wall and the management wasn't the best either.

It is a great company if you are looking forward to advance, but there are so many restrictions that also applied. Overall, the co workers are absolutely amazing where they are helpful.

mis-managed
Lead Station Attendant (Former Employee), Toronto, ONSeptember 15, 2014
This is a job that is based solely on how long you have been there...Management is completely out to lunch (half of them are not even trained for the job they are trying to manage)..

Flight benefits? Don't even try to fly in the summer or during the holiday peak period unless you have a ton of seniority..Union and management do not get along, don't – more... even know why there is a union, they really don't help with anything.

Pay is low for the work, and the pension is on the brink of collapse.. – less
