Pros: travel, work environment
Cons: away from home for years sometimes
A typical day at work would consist of coordinating the various departments under my control to prepare for the next mission and to correlate data from previous missions in a form specified by the customers. Sometimes flying. I learned about survey techniques and how to live and work in multiple countries. Management was supportive if a little loony sometimes. My coworkers were great and fun to be with even on long assignments. Hardest part of the job was to sometimes let people go who didn't perform their duties properly. Most enjoyable was travel and meeting new people from differnet cultures.
