AdventureLink www.adventurelink.com is at the forefront of developing the leading system for researching and booking adventure travel worldwide. We are looking for a talented individual with experience in online marketing to join our team in Squamish.
As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for all aspects of the AdventureLink consumer direct and affiliate marketing programs. You will be responsible for developing the overall program, execution and adjusting the plan accordingly to achieve site traffic and booking objectives.
Plan, manage and adjust the monthly marketing objectives for attaining traffic and overall booking objectives
Develop the strategy, budget forecasting and ongoing report for all online channels including SEM, SEO, Affiliate & online display advertising programs
Drive the overall search strategy for AdventureLink for SEM & SEO
Identify and recruit affiliates that can help drive content and revenue for AdventureLink
Work with the technical team to develop and prioritize the engineering plan to achieve sales objectives
Proactively propose new strategies and aggressively test different tactics in order to optimize campaigns
Drive quantitative analysis for determine the most effective distribution channels and marketing related programs
Budget management and detailed forecasting
A minimum of 5 years in online marketing with a proven track record of achieving SEM plan attainment of $100k or more annually
A minimum of 5+ years hands-on experience managing large-scale PPC campaigns with top and secondary search engines (Google, Yahoo!, Bing, Ask.com) using geo-targeting and retargeting techniques
Experience with multi-variable analysis and tracking & analytics tools like KissMetrics, MixPanel, CrazyEgg, MouseFlow
Expert with ad copy and A/B landing page testing design, implementation and analysis (multivariate testing is a plus)
Data driven with strong analytical skills. Proficient with MS Excel
Detail-oriented with strong project management skills
Ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced, startup environment
Proven ability to deliver valuable business insights based on multiple data sources available in the organization and search traffic tools
Ability to plan, organize and establish priorities with significant analytical, logical and strategic thinking skills
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and interpersonal skills to effectively drive the overall marketing strategy for AdventureLink
