Job Description

Directly working with our sales and funding teams, this role oversees the application process with our prospective clients and coordinates all document correspondence internally and externally for a successful completion to sale.

  • Is the primary sales representative with merchants during the application process;
  • Handle objections, questions and concerns around the application forms and the funding process with the purpose to assist the client through the funding process successfully;
  • Create and manage a client’s sense of urgency to effectively close funding;
  • Coordinates with the merchant and obtain support when collecting missing information from a potential client;
  • Verify all details in the documents received from the prospective client in order to identify required information;
  • Is the primary coordinator between the sales and operational team to ensure internal process completion;
  • Request guarantor information from a prospective client as required;
  • Liaise with client, guarantor and data analysts to ensure to close the file on a timely basis;
  • Be the key point of contact for merchants that have incomplete accounts;
  • Ensure the administrative policies and procedures are followed according to established guidelines of the accounting department;
  • Perform administrative functions related to completing a prospect’s file and perform data entry as required;
  • Perform ad hoc administration duties as required to ensure optimal sales volume from associated Account Executives;
  • Perform with a high level of collaboration and strong communication about client, work and file status to the assigned Account Executive.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to problem solve and handle client questions and objections around the application and funding process; sales experience considered an asset;
  • Ability to manage sales expectations and internal deadlines while ensuring high application approvals in a timely fashion;
  • Ability to work under pressure in a time sensitive environment;
  • Strong communicator between internal and external teams;
  • Strong customer service and communication skills;
  • Highly organized and detailed oriented;
  • University Degree or equivalent experience;
  • Microsoft Word and Excel required; Salesforce.com experience an asset;
  • Bilingual.
