Working for Accor Hotels - Ottawa wast best experience in my career. I learned a great deal as a manager and am ready to share that anywhere I go. The employees were well taken care of and the hotel was taken care of as well. Thanks to it's wonderful owners.
Night Auditor (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 24 March 2016
- great team work. always working hard together to keep the hotel working and keeping customers happy. -the hardest part of the job was to keep customers happy when unexpected things happened. Examples when water issues, ac broken, etc.
House Keeping (Former Employee) – Queenstown, New Zealand – 23 September 2015
The day started at 7.30am and would end around 3pm depending on how many check outs we had that day. I would clean and make the rooms look new again whilst working with one other housekeeper. We would get lunch provided and one break in the morning and one break in the afternoon. There were many cultures as most workers were travelers. It was great fun getting to know so many different people whilst working. I was looked after well by higher management and treated with great respect as an employee. I would work for Novotel again any day in any area of work.

Working at Novotel was a great work place, friendly front desk agents, great rooms management and great housekeeping co workers, a typical day at work would be, stocking up my cart with all linens and ammenities for all suites. At novotel my work areas was the rooms. i learned alot at novotel how to clean the rooms to hotel standards , how to handle with the guests staying at novotel, its not the easiest job and its not the hardest but i must say i enjoyed working there. My co-workers/ team were great people and it is a very fun and happy place to work at. The hardest part of the job was the party suites, but overall its a great and fun environment to work at .
