Given our comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing environment, we are uniquely qualified to maximize the efficiency of engineered systems.
We are currently seeking a Paint Defect Analyst for one of our Automotive Accounts in the eastern GTA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Champion of the Dirt in Paint Program
Update and maintain dirt notification boards/postings
Collect and categorize dirt samples and pictures
Maintain a dirt library database with the ability to track historical contamination problems, corrective plans and work instructions
Train junior employees in defect identification and data collection
Assist in developing best practices for construction and cleaning, material quality and process, equipment and maintenance.
Assist in developing methodology to diagnose new or re-occurring contamination problems
Coordinate with unionized personnel and management to communicate information, assist with troubleshooting, and participate in quality activities
Assist with the collection of airflow and booth environment data
Participate in dirt studies and Quality Issue Resolution activities
Analyze particle count data to assist in defect root cause analysis
Direct and assist in the execution of paint booth cleaning operations

EXPECTATIONS:
Perform work in a logical, orderly and skillful manner
Use tools and equipment correctly, efficiently and accurately
Exercise all applicable safety standards
Use analytical problem solving skills to complete required tasks while maintaining a high level of quality workmanship
Accept work assignments that could require additional training to perform
Work on rotating shift schedule as required

REQUIREMENTS:
College graduate in the sciences or comparable education and experience
Ability to use microscope proficiently
Excellent computer skills
Excellent customer service skills
Own vehicle for transportation to and from job site
Knowledge of automotive paint application and quality indicators is an advantage

COMPENSATION:
Pay rate: $19.00 to $24.00 per hour
