AV Terrace Bay Inc. is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Planner & Supervisor to join its Capital Construction Crew.
- A valid and current provincial or inter-provincial (red seal) ticket within the Millwright trade
- 5 years Supervisory experience required
- Construction experience required
- Trained in Due Diligence for Supervisors, considered an asset
- SAP or purchasing & procurement software experience considered an asset
- Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience considered an asset
- Ability to work in a team based environment
- Must be willing to relocate to Terrace Bay
Reporting to the Project Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing supervision to the Capital Construction Crew, ensuring his/her employees perform their tasks in accordance with the Company’s health & safety policies, Corporate Guidelines and Company policies. The incumbent must also plan the crew’s daily schedule of activities, as well as source the proper parts and materials for the jobs assigned to the crew members. As part of the supervisory duties, the supervisor will be expected to provide technical support to the tradesmen when required.
