Conceirge & Help Desk Security (Current Employee), Calgary, AB – July 20, 2014
Pros: for move schedules, if the move is finished within 1 or 2 hours earlier, (scheduled for 4 hr.), the payment is given for 4 hours.if the move is cancelled at last minute, but not informed and as per schedule, i present in the site, i will be paid for entire 4 hours.
Cons: at some sites, the elevator ceiling is high for arranging the pads and no proper ladder is provided, the pads have long hooks which hit on my head and the hair is pulled off, a struggle on the ladder with heavy pads on hands, when only one elevator works, i have to manage all conflicts between the movers and other residents.
I have been working with ASP Inc. in Calgary, from Oct. 2013, till date, as a Conceirge/Help Desk Security, in residential condos. I recognize some respect from the clients for ASP guards. At some site, the building operations manager seems to be pushy and pressurizing, and in some site, I need not have to meet him/her, at all.
I have leared a lot out of my work, the customer service and effective communication skills. Everybody (the customers & staff) seems to be Ok, except one or two (occasional) not understanding the fact, at first instance, which is quite common everywhere. May be it is due to my own not understanding ASP's work culture.
I try to say that the work with ASP Inc is an enjoyable learning experience.
