Responsible for all day-to-day warehouse/ inventory activities in the facility. This role will include the management of inventory parts, service delivery and any additional supply chain tasks for customers in a multi client warehouse.

Position Responsibilities:

o Manage day to day operations of Inventory Control Unit
o Maintains positive employee relationships.
o Responsible for the coordination of PI’s (Parts Inventory) and cycle counts at the facility
o Ensures exceptional customer service is achieved by exceeding service targets and key performance indicators.
o Acts as a support group work closely with Transportation and Infrastructure Unit leaders to insure complete customer satisfaction.
o Monitors inventory process at the facility to insure timely updating and accuracy.
o In collaboration with the Regional Manager (RM), Implements a performance tracking tool with KPI for the facility
o Instrumental in start up of any new dedicated business/accounts.
o Informs Regional Manager of daily activity and/or any issues/concerns.
o Ensures adherence to procedural and policy requirements.
o Performs other duties as required/assigned by immediate supervisor
o Establishes work schedules. Ensure that the schedules are correctly implemented and that jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly.
o Trains employees on the proper procedures for each customer account.
o Maintains current procedures (SOP’s) for the facility
o Maintains product locator system. Ensures the optimal utilization of space through warehouse consolidation. Rotates product as appropriate.
o Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
o Assists in maintaining the security of the Warehouse and lead Health and Safety requirements at the branch
o Conducts operation in a manner which promotes safety.
o Conducts operation in accordance with the Ministry of Labour guidelines.
o In collaboration with the RM, develop and maintain a productive work team by creating programs for hiring, training, and professional development.
o Completes all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
o Assures the integrity of the inventory and coordinate and oversee physical inventories.
o Works directly with customers in resolving discrepancies
o Conducts monthly internal staff/safety meetings. Interacts with traffic, human resources, customers, vendors, and employees
o Act as liaison between employees, and management
o Acts as a backup to the Warehouse Worker and Operations Coordinator positions by performing the essential functions of the job.
o Perform other duties as required or assigned by management.


  • Requires a minimum of 2 years of team lead experience, preferably in a warehouse setting.
  • Must be detail oriented and have good math skills.
  • Must communicate to all levels of an organization both written and verbally.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment in a safe and reliable manner.
  • Good physical condition and ability to lift 55 pounds safely.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to perform under strict deadlines and in a stressful environment.
