The Human Resource Business Partner is responsible for the company’s HR function. They will support various departments in the following areas: Recruitment and hiring, Orientation, Administration of Payroll, Administration of company benefits program as well as government requirements, Training, as well as Implementation and maintenance of HR policies according to Union contract.
Ensure compliance with Federal & Provincial laws and Company policies and procedures
Support with the recruitment and hiring
Administer background investigation and screening process for all new employees
Process and maintain the company’s payroll (ADP)
Maintain the company’s benefits program (Group Benefits, CSST, RRSP)
Be responsible for the compliance of training with local government framework
Support management team with unionized employee relationship
In a start-up environment, take ownership of employee-related mandates, as needed
Bilinguism is essential (Advanced Speaking and Writing in French and English)
Excellent MS Office skills
- Payroll, benefits administration and ADP system
- Government training requirements and preferably aerospace industry requirements
- Administration of CSST files
High integrity / High degree of Confidentiality
Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationship with employees (Staff & unionized)
Ability to work with senior management in developing a strong HR relationship with employees
Bachelor degree in Human resources or Labour Relations
5-7 years of industry experience
Experience in a unionized environment
Aerospace experience an asset
