The QA/QC Specialist works closely with Operations leadership and the Executive team to design and implement a practical, proactive and continuous improvement based quality program which provides competitive advantages to the organization.
- Define the organization's needs in terms of a full spectrum QA/QC program ensuring attention to base requirements as well as proactive best business practice.
- Develop and maintain the QA five-year strategic business plan in alignment with the organization's strategic plan, achieving and maintaining top-quartile performance in the industry segment.
- Create, maintain and drive the annual tactical plan to tangibly improve business performance and competitiveness.
- Integrate QA as a cultural characteristic of the organization giving it relevance as a business differentiator.
Candidates should possess 3 to 5 years experience as a technical QA/QC practitioner in manufacturing, strong working knowledge of ASME/ASTM codes.
College or technical school graduate with supplementary training in quality including Statistical Process Control, Lean/Six Sigma, LEAD Auditor, safety and environment process and controls.
Ability to act in a supervisory capacity as required.
Proven ability to grow into next level of the organization over next two year timeframe.
