-Install and calibrate instruments in a SAG-D oil facility. Consult manufacturers' manuals to determine test and maintenance procedures - use pneumatic, electrical and electronic testing devices to inspect and test instrument and system operation, and diagnose faults - cut, thread, bend, assemble and install tubing and piping c/w fittings - practice loss management principles - repair, maintain and adjust system components or remove and replace defective parts - calibrate and maintain components and instruments according to manufacturers' specifications - install and maintain instruments on new or existing plant equipment and processes - interpret and use appropriate CSA, ISA, ABSA and API installation standards and practices. Work is in northern Alberta. Travel allowance (no paid flights).
- Apprentices- Indentured in any province in Canada - Work Experience: Oil and Gas construction or large industrial project construction - Safety tickets: Minimum: CSTS, H2S Alive, Standard First Aid Additional: Fall Protection, EWP, TDG, and Confined Space.
