Our client, based in the #401 and Martin Grove area of Mississauga, is seeking a self-motivated, well-organized individual to assist them in building their business as well as enabling you to put lots of $$$$ in your pocket!!
Outside Sales Representative - Water systems knowledge preferred!!!
$45k base plus commission –
Toronto (N.E. of Airport)
This client is a manufacturer and supplier of water well drilling products, groundwater monitoring and water pumping systems. Experience in one or all of these areas would be preferred!!!! Our client will look though at those with plumbing and pump experience.
If you are looking to build your sales career and are available and willing to spend some nights away from home, then this might be the place for you!!! The majority of the current business is in the GTA and the majority of the company’s growth will come from this area. You will also be required to service and build business in Barrie, Orillia and Peterborough which could involve spending 5 to 7 days per month in these areas, and away from home. You will be provided with a company truck and a blackberry for company use.
Growth will come primarily from cold calling – the client is looking for someone who can build their business by approximately 20% per year – they feel that this is a very achievable target!!!
You will be required to maintain a sales tracker and submit expense and mileage reports. You will also be required to submit annual sales budgets that would include target accounts and your plans to increase business.
To be considered:
· you will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical outside sales role
· you must feel comfortable working with a range of clients including drilling contractors and professional engineers .
· you will have excellent English communication skills.
