180 Smoke is a retail & wholesale provider of high-quality electronic cigarette, electronic cigar and electronic hookah. Through our line of high quality products, we strive to provide and advance alternatives to tobacco smoking. Partnering with our customers we provide resources to help them turn their lives 180 degrees around and promote a tobacco free future for them. Our products have ZERO tobacco, ZERO smoke and ZERO combustion.

Our business has received major interest and contracts in the cruise lines and hospitality industry. We have also seen expansion in Europe through Netherlands which also happens to be a major cruise line and shipping hub. We would like to expand into the cruise line & hospitality industry by working with local wholesalers and retailers. We would also expand the retail presence in Netherlands to help facilitate wholesale deals. This role will be based at our head office in Toronto, Canada and will require occasional travel to the Netherlands and across Canada.

Due to the global nature of our business and an industry that is expanding at an extremely fast rate, we requires team members who offer multiple skills, are multi-lingual and are proactive team players. We are currently are looking for an individual who has sales and business development skills and experience in hospitality industry.

Position: Business Development Manager

Hours of work: : 40 hours per week. Paid overtime as required. Work hours will be from 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
Training : Full training will be provided to familiarize you with our industry, internal best practices, tools used and processes that are followed.

Job location is in Toronto where all our executives, senior advisors and investors are located. Some travel may be required to Netherlands every few months.
You will spend 50% of your time in developing partnerships and franchise channels in the dutch speaking countries that are part of the the Kingdom of Netherlands.
Assist franchisees as they prepare to commence operations, and work with others within the Company to implement appropriate pre-opening training and support programs
Coordinate the franchise sales process, including the handling of franchise leads, interviewing franchise candidates, evaluating franchise applications, and awarding franchise contracts with approval from Executive Management
Aggressively expand the brand with our current franchisee in the Netherlands, making sure all deadlines are met
Lead, develop, maintain, and update the Company’s Franchise Strategy, Policy and Procedures
Provide superior customer service to the company’s franchisees, maintaining a high degree of professionalism in all communications.
Actively seeking and pursuing sales & marketing opportunities in the Netherlands and the rest of Europe’s target countries according to the Company’s expansion plan, in partnership with franchisees
Identify new marketing opportunities and implement initiatives with franchise to reach their goals
Assist in the development and tracking of budgets specific to the Company’s franchise recruitment and sales activities
Ensure that all communications with prospective franchisees are consistent with the Company’s communications policies, and any and all state or federal laws impacting the sale of franchises
Assist, as required, in the implementation of the Company’s franchise compliance system, ensuring compliance with all federal and relevant state laws governing the franchise sales and relationship process.
Assist in updating, as necessary, the Company’s Franchise Disclosure Document, Franchise Agreement, and related documents.
You will spend the other 50% of your time on expanding wholesale sales channel within the cruise line and hospitality industry with a focus on developing relationship with brokers, wholesalers and cruiselines in Netherlands & Canada.
Work in collaboration with senior management to develop relationships with wholesalers, brokers and cruiseline owners in the netherlands and canada.
Prepare proposals and pitch documents for wholesale opportunities with senior executives.
Manage all wholesale orders, invoices, payments & product delivery.
Help develop product requirements demanded by wholesalers.
Professionally and accurately represent the company at all times, creating strong and lasting relationships

Desired Skills & Experience
Successful applicants must meet the following criteria:

College &/or Post-secondary education in Hospitality Management, Business &/or equivalent combination of education/work experience
Experience in sales, business development and training
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English & Dutch
Proven track record of successfully managing relationships with a strong emphasis on growth
Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills with demonstrated success in negotiating and assisting clients
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
Strong leadership, mentorship, development and solid experience in managing employees.
Negotiation Skills at a senior level, High developed persuasive, influencing, relationship management and problem solving skills
Solutions focused with a view to generating positive measurable outcomes
Working knowledge of small business operations
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs

Beneficial experience & skills

Familiar with the dutch and european market (focus countries)
Familiar with Hospitality & cruiseline industry
Analytical skills
