Job Summary: This part-time position oversees the daily operation of the Hospice office. Recruits, interviews, educates, supervises, mentors and evaluates the work of other staff members and volunteers. Plays an active role in regional Hospice matters. Represents the Society and participates in all public relations. Serves as liaison with other members of the Palliative Care Team. Prepares annual program budget for approval by the Board and maintains current records as required by the Board.
Skills: Ongoing knowledge of current philosophies and practices regarding Volunteer resources and the Hospice community. Superior interpersonal and communication skills including public speaking. Ability to work independently, be flexible and responsible.
Qualifications: Experience in providing Hospice/Bereavement services, ability to develop/manage a program budget, manage a busy volunteer program.
