Job Description:
Building a World-Class, Diverse and Inclusive Technology Team at TD
We can't afford to be boring. Neither can you. The scale and scope of what TD does may surprise you. The rapid pace of change makes it a business imperative for us to be smart and open-minded in the way we think about technology. TD's technology and business teams become more intertwined as new opportunities present themselves. This new era in banking does not equal boring. Not at TD, anyway.
TD IT Architecture covers TD's overall technology strategy, direction, standards for designing and/or developing an architecture framework including technology architecture strategy, policies, guiding principles and standards to govern how technology solutions will be developed and implemented across the organization. Architects typically develop and maintain any combination of the following: solution and application architecture, infrastructure environment architecture, technical integration architecture, data strategies and models, security and enterprise architecture.
There's room to grow in all of it.
About This Role
As we look ahead to 2026, we anticipate an increased workload driven by the migration of our payments data store to Mongo Atlas, the acceleration of the Sanctions program and the VCP initiative. To ensure we have the necessary capacity to support these critical initiatives and meet our architecture objectives, we need to expand our payments architecture team. The new architect will primarily support the payments data domain, allowing the current team to properly support other critical domains such as the sanctions program, bulk payments, payments shared services and AMCB ACH initiatives.
Meaningful work is fueled by meaningful performance and career development conversations with your manager.
