Overview:

Pay: $22
/ hour
Plant location: Victoria, BC
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:
  • This position is responsible for the efficient operation of designated production equipment as assigned.
  • Removing bottles from racks and putting them on the conveyor to meet production and quality objectives.
  • Visually inspecting and removing foreign objects from bottles. Performing odor tests and discarding contaminated bottles.
  • Relabel and tag bottles with handle tags.
  • Sort and lift empty and full bottles from delivery trucks.
  • Responsible for start-up, operation, change over, shut down and preventative maintenance of assigned production equipment. Equipment may include production line equipment, forklifts or other power equipment.
  • Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently following the Company Safety Policy, including the lock out/tag out process.
  • Provide general plant, production line and facility clean up (5S).
Qualifications:
  • Production experience, preferably in a food and beverage environment.
  • Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency.
  • Work efficiently self-directed or in a team environment.
  • Physically able to safely lift bottles and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends (depending on location).
  • Ability to inspect materials visually and by sense of smell.
  • PPE Required (safety shoes, hair nets, goggles, ear plugs).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions (depending on location) that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity. The noise level may be loud at times.


Candidates must possess strong English language skills to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional service. Proficiency in English is essential for understanding customer needs, resolving inquiries, and collaborating with team members.
