Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity
As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead the developer portal experience and drive innovation in API platform solutions. You will combine technical expertise with product management skills, focusing on creating seamless experiences for developers and integrators. You will translate technical specifications into user stories, manage product backlogs, and collaborate with all partners to enhance onboarding efficiency and reduce friction for merchants and developers.
Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Director, Product- Distributions Partnerships.
Posting Type: Replacement Position.
Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $122,644 - $162,408.
Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

Own the Developer Portal Experience: Lead the strategy and execution for the developer portal, including API discovery, documentation organization, and overall look and feel.

Drive Onboarding Velocity: Reduce friction in the sign-up and integration process to improve Time-to-First-Call, ensuring partners onboard quickly.

Create Content & Usage Scenarios: Translate raw technical specs into real-world usage scenarios, tutorials, and guides that help external developers implement solutions.

Manage Product Lifecycle: Prioritize backlogs, run sprint planning, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-quality features.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal application teams and external developers to integrate APIs and improve developer experience.

Hands-On Validation: Use tools like Postman to test scenarios and confirm functionality before publishing.

Technical Product Experience: 5+ years in product management with a focus on API platforms, developer portals, or SaaS infrastructure.

High API Literacy: Strong understanding of RESTful design and OpenAPI Specifications (OAS); ability to interpret specs and create user-friendly guides.

API Management Familiarity: Experience with platforms like Apigee, Kong, or Azure API Management.

Agile Expertise: Experienced in backlog management, sprint planning, and working with cross-functional teams.

Hands-On Approach: Comfortable validating API flows and integration paths using tools like Postman, with hands-on experience managing developer portals, particularly on ReadMe.

Strong Communication Skills: Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Strong Technical Fluency: Comfortable discussing and applying technologies such as SDKs, APIs, OAuth, Webhooks, JSON, and deployment tooling

Integration Experience: Hands-on experience working with system integrations, iPaaS platforms, or workflow automation tools.
