Job Summary

We are looking for a Shipper/Receiver to join our Macon team. You will be responsible for the well-organized and smooth preparation, documentation, and handling of incoming and outgoing parts and materials. You will also help to receive and pick parts for the warehouse. This role involves a balanced combination of administrative duties and physical work in the shop.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for packing and preparing all goods for LTL and small parcel shipments
• Package and prepare customer products and crates as required for safe shipping, load and unload trucks
• Receive and inspect shipments, confirm vendor supplied components for customers' orders, and report any inventory discrepancies, including shortages and damage
• Keep record of shipping documents
• Actively promote safe working practices, follow good warehouse practices, and participate in continuous improvement
• Keep a safe and clean work environment by complying with policies, procedures and regulations
• Ensure that tools, equipment work areas are maintained in a clean, complete and safe condition
• Other duties as required

Qualifications and Experience

• Valid forklift operating certificate an asset
• Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment an asset
• Must meet all Health and Safety standards and lift a minimum of 50 lbs
