Job Title: Senior Procurement Technician

Company: GRM Inc. – West Kelowna, BC


GRM Inc. is seeking a highly organized and strategic Senior Procurement Technician to join our team in West Kelowna. This full-time role supports our procurement, pricing, bidding and proposal functions, helping drive growth with existing and prospective clients across Western Canada.


Position Overview

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Senior Procurement Technician provides advanced technical and administrative support for bid coordination, procurement activities, pricing models and proposal development.

This role is ideal for a strong writer and critical thinker who can interpret client priorities and create compelling, strategic proposals that align GRM’s strengths with client objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate bid and tender submissions, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery
  • Develop and submit Request for Information (RFI) responses
  • Source and evaluate bid opportunities across Western Canada
  • Analyze RFPs, RFQs and tender documents to identify requirements, risks and evaluation criteria
  • Develop clear, persuasive and strategically positioned proposal content
  • Translate technical, operational and financial information into client-focused responses
  • Create proposal narratives that communicate value and differentiation
  • Maintain procurement databases, pricing models, bid trackers and contract records
  • Support contract tracking, milestones, renewals and bid status reporting
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather and refine proposal content
  • Assist with high-value project quoting and proposal reviews
  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and proposal quality

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5+ years of experience in procurement, bid coordination or proposal development
  • Exceptional technical and strategic writing skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Experience developing tailored, value-driven proposals
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and complex submissions
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Industry experience in snow removal, landscaping or property maintenance is considered an asset

Working Conditions

  • Full-time, in-person position (hybrid opportunity once fully trained)
  • Location: West Kelowna, BC
  • Core Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
