Our team designs and manufactures world-class prefabricated electrical enclosures and industrial assemblies serving industries such as mining, utilities, power generation, and heavy industrial sectors across North America.

We are currently seeking an Industrial Project Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a highly organized and technically capable individual with experience coordinating industrial manufacturing, fabrication, engineered products, or capital equipment projects from kickoff through completion.

This is a hands-on project role focused on coordinating drawings, schedules, procurement, production activities, and client communication.

The successful candidate will work closely with drafting, purchasing, production, and operations teams to support project execution.

The role is focused on project execution and coordination rather than direct employee supervision.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned projects from award through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are achieved
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and track progress against key milestones
  • Coordinate with drafting, purchasing, production, and operations teams to support project execution
  • Maintain regular communication with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Review and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Support fabrication activities by resolving technical, scheduling, and material-related issues
  • Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Coordinate procurement activities and material deliveries to support project schedules
  • Monitor project risks and implement corrective actions as required
  • Ensure project documentation, revisions, schedules, and deliverables remain organized and up to date
  • Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates
  • Support quality control, project accountability, and successful project closeout

Mandatory Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Project Management, Project Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Project Coordination, or a related industrial environment
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Strong project scheduling experience, Microsoft Project preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Additional Qualifications Considered an Asset:

  • Degree in Engineering, Management, or a related technical discipline
  • PMP designation or formal project management training
  • Knowledge of structural steel, metal fabrication, welding, or industrial manufacturing processes
  • Exposure to fabrication, welding, or manufacturing environments
  • Experience coordinating engineered products, industrial equipment, or capital projects
  • Experience within prefabricated metal enclosure manufacturing environments
  • Red Seal Metal Fabricator or Welder certification
