Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Roofer and Cladder with general maintenance and shuttle duties to join our team of 10. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems and cladding on our existing buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience working with hand tools, construction materials, and blueprint reading, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects in a dynamic environment, contributing to the durability and aesthetic appeal of commercial and residential structures.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and replace roofing systems using appropriate materials and techniques
  • Measure, cut, and fit roofing components accurately according to project specifications
  • Install cladding panels and other exterior wall coverings with precision
  • Perform general construction and maintenance tasks including framing, caulking, and finishing work
  • Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and caulking guns effectively
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans to ensure correct installation
  • Assist with heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on-site
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
  • Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
  • Help other maintenance personnel
  • Various shuttling duties including driving patients and supplies to our Various locations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a roofer or in related construction roles with a focus on roofing or cladding installation
  • Familiarity with hand tools, carpentry, caulking, and blueprint reading
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and practices
  • Handyman experience is a plus for versatile task execution
  • Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
  • Valid driver’s license is REQUIRED for transportation to job sites
  • Prior experience working with construction materials such as metal panels, shingles, or other cladding products is desirable.
