Overview
Join our dynamic construction team as a Steel Stud Framer and become a vital part of creating sturdy, reliable structures! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for framing interior and exterior walls using steel studs, ensuring precision and safety at every step. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of commercial and residential projects, helping us build spaces that stand the test of time. Duties

  • Measure, cut, and assemble steel studs and framing components according to blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
  • Install metal framing systems for walls, ceilings, partitions, and other structural elements with accuracy and efficiency
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical instructions to ensure proper framing alignment
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform framing tasks with precision
  • Collaborate with team members on-site to coordinate tasks such as rebar installation, concrete forming, and masonry work when needed
  • Assist in the setup of scaffolding or other temporary structures required for metal building erection or remodeling projects
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and inspecting tools and equipment regularly

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in metal stud framing, construction site work, or related carpentry roles
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings specific to steel framing projects
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding safely and effectively
  • Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures to ensure a secure working environment
  • Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working at heights
  • Experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, roofing, siding, plastering or stucco is a plus
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
