Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers with product selection, and maintaining an organized and inviting store environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for retail sales, and a knowledge of horticulture or landscape maintenance is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to develop sales expertise in a dynamic retail setting, supporting both in-store and e-commerce operations.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
  • Operate POS systems for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
  • Provide product information and recommendations related to gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance
  • Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising techniques
  • Support inventory management, stock replenishment, and organization of the sales floor
  • Assist customers with online orders and e-commerce inquiries
  • Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
  • Communicate product features and benefits clearly to diverse customer groups, including multilingual support if applicable
  • Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction

Skills

  • Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
  • Experience with POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and retail sales processes
  • Knowledge of gardening, horticulture, landscape maintenance, or related fields is desirable
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and merchandising effectively
  • Customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online order processing is advantageous
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to fast-paced retail settings

Pay: $45,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
