About us

We are a locally-owned independent pharmacy and our goal is to offer personalized and expert care to each of our patients.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our team

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Answer phone inquiries and provide information on prescription status, and general pharmacy services.
  • Assist in the preparation of prescription medications .
  • Ensure accurate labeling, packaging, and proper storage of medications.
  • Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and restocking medications and supplies.
  • Rotate stock and check for expired products to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Process prescription orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain and update patient profiles and prescription records.
  • Handle and maintain confidential patient information in compliance with privacy regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a pharmacy assistant is required.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and standards in Ontario.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with pharmacy software systems.
  • Knowledge of prescription drug names and their uses is an asset.
