About the job

Who We Are

Arcady Media Inc. is a world-class email marketing agency committed to delivering unparalleled service and results. Our mission is to be the best in our field, providing top-notch solutions that drive success for our clients. We pride ourselves on our expertise, innovation, and dedication to achieving excellence in all we do.

Our 3 core values: Embrace Collaboration, Continuous Learning, and Be Transparent.

Role Summary

As an DTC Lifecycle / Retention Manager, your mission is to maintain and grow client relationships while owning the lifecycle marketing strategy across email, SMS, subscriptions, and loyalty.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves working with people, and can turn big-picture goals into clear execution plans. You’ll lead client communication, guide internal teams, and drive retention outcomes for high-growth eCommerce brands.

Curious about our impact? Check out our case studies on our website.

How This Role Fits Into The Team

You’ll work closely with the Email Content Strategist, who owns hands-on with campaign calendars and day to day creative direction.

You own the relationship and strategy — the analyst brings it to life through precise execution and performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary client contact: lead bi-weekly calls, manage communications, and translate goals into actionable strategies.
  • Own the retention roadmap across email, SMS, and loyalty initiatives.
  • Guide lifecycle planning from acquisition to repeat purchase, with a focus on LTV and engagement.

Team and Campaign Management

  • Review the final creative assets for clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand voice and strategy.
  • Manage tasks and priorities in ClickUp, ensuring visibility and accountability across the team.

Retention Strategy and Optimization

  • Use Klaviyo and CRM tools to define segmentation, flow logic, and campaign triggers.
  • Collaborate with internal performance analysts to identify trends, A/B test opportunities, and performance gaps.
  • Drive strategic experiments aimed at increasing retention, repeat rate, and overall revenue contribution.

Disqualifiers:

Who shouldn’t apply:

  • If you struggle to manage multiple moving parts across clients and projects at once.
  • If you prefer highly structured environments and need step-by-step direction.
  • If you’re not comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
  • If you avoid owning problems and prefer to escalate every roadblock to leadership.
  • If you’re not genuinely interested in eCommerce, CRM strategy, or retention marketing.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required:

  • 3-5 years in Account Management, Client Success, or Lifecycle Strategy - ideally in an agency or with DTC/eCommerce brands.
  • Strong understanding of lifecycle and retention marketing, including email, SMS, subscriptions, and loyalty programs.
  • CRM knowledge is required. Experience with Klaviyo is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead strategy calls, manage deliverables across a pod, and build strong client relationships.
  • You love talking to people and can turn complex goals into clear direction and results.
  • Attention to detail when reviewing copy, design, and campaign assets.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Shopify and how it integrates with Klaviyo.
  • Background in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or growth strategy.
  • Experience using ClickUp, Figma, and Slack in a professional environment.

We are an AI-first, efficiency-driven company.

We actively encourage the use of LLMs (like ChatGPT), Shopify apps, and other automation tools that help you work smarter, faster, and more strategically. The best candidates will embrace tools that streamline execution and enhance the quality of work.

Tools we use:

  • Slack: Our go-to for all things communication. Whether it's a quick question or a team update, it all happens here.
  • ClickUp: This is where we keep all our tasks in check. It's our command center for managing what gets done and when.
  • Zoom & Google Meet: All our calls, whether they're quick check-ins or longer discussions, happen through Zoom and Google Meet.
  • Figma: For all our design needs, Figma is the tool. It's where creativity meets collaboration.
  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides etc.): Our mainstay for all types of documents. Whether we’re drafting a memo or crunching numbers, it’s all happening in Google Docs and Sheets.
  • Klaviyo: The backbone of our email marketing efforts.
  • Shopify: The hub of our e-commerce operations.

Benefits:

  • Mentorship from industry leaders and continuous training opportunities.
  • Career development as the agency expands into new realms like events, private communities, and learning resources as well as growth.
  • Be part of a movement aiming to dominate the retention marketing space in eCommerce for CRM.
  • Engage with a supportive, collaborative team while working on diverse and exciting D2C brands.
  • Competitive Salary and Performance Bonuses.
  • Work with high-profile DTC brands, providing ample opportunity to build a standout portfolio.
  • A flexible and remote-friendly work environment.
