This great opportunity is a full-time, year-round position and is ready and waiting for you today. As the Accounting Clerk you will be responsible for facilitating the efficient functioning of the office through a range of tasks including, but not limited to, the areas of accounting, administration, HR related tasks, staff and departmental support.

Reporting to the Director of Accounting and ownership, responsibilities and requirements include, but are not limited to:

• Processing of all AP and AR functions.
• Maintenance, and reconciliation of the general and sub ledgers.
• Processing “Days End” transactions, reports, and bank deposits.
• Administration of employee documentation.
• Assisting with month end and year end preparation and processing.
• Back up support for our Director of Accounting, managing overflow of calls emails and time sensitive material
• Compliance with the company’s values, vision, policies, and procedures

The successful applicant will possess:

• A diploma or certification in accounting from recognized educator (IE. Polytech, Edwards, etc..).
• Confidentiality, handling sensitive financial information with the utmost discretion and integrity.
• A strong understanding of all accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
• Ability to work individually and as part of our team.
• Excellent analytical, written, communication, and collaboration skills.
• A positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and challenge solution skills.
• A desire to grow with an expanding company.

Strong attributes would be any accounting and administrative experience, customer satisfaction training, first aid certification, passion for our industry, business and/or top management experience or training, and experience with the recreational products we offer. The working hours for this position will be Monday through Friday following our normal hours of operation with occasional overtime.
