Ironclad TEK is looking for a Systems Support Analyst interested in working in a fast paced, innovative, and technically challenging environment.

We are currently looking for an individual to join our team on a Contract basis. The role will include ongoing long-term client-based support/project tasks, as well as Pre/Post Sales and Internal support duties. This role consists of 40 hour - 5 day per week engagements, including off hours operational and project work as needed, as well as on-call expectations. Own transportation must be provided and is expected. The applicant will be working in a very team-oriented organization with a "work hard, play hard" attitude, where the ability to achieve excellence is fully supported.

The Service Support Analyst’s role is responsible for the day-to-day technical support of all users and technical platforms across Ironclad TEK Inc. which includes product evaluation, install, configuration of core software and hardware, maintenance, research and troubleshooting problems and resolutions.

The candidate must have a thorough understanding of technology and preferably has held previous positions with resellers, consulting firms, or in a large Corporate IT department accumulating 2 - 5+ years of experience. Ideally the candidate will be well versed in IT operations to support various integrations with servers, storage, and other infrastructure technology. Currently only local applicants or those willing to relocate on their own only please.

Role

  • Manage and support desktop /server environments including technologies such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Mobile Device Technology, VMware, Active Directory, Nutanix, Windows, Backup Software (i.e. Veeam).
  • Assist with the planning, design, and deployment of new applications, system patches, licensing and hardware devices including servers, desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
  • Tier 2 level support for all approved hardware and software, responding to and solving trouble tickets, and participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Striving to stay ahead of current industry trends, new technologies and services that impact staff and customer experience as well as providing recommendations when it comes to purchasing efforts.
  • Participate in establishing and maintaining service level agreements with vendors, customers, and coordinate with Support Desk.
  • Work in partnership with customer IT departments to assist with the policy and security of environment.
  • Work as a true partner to our customers by understanding their business requirements, system goals, and providing support to ensure effectiveness and efficiency that meet the organization's needs.
  • Diligently maintain and monitor backups and restores.
  • Support end user orientation, training, and technical documentation for all modified and new systems as well as providing aid to all IT business units when requested.
  • Be responsible for asset management.
  • Build and utilize working relationships with internal business partners across the organization and external contacts.
  • Strive to streamline internal work processes and realize cost and resource efficiencies.
  • Embrace the challenge when it comes to technical issues and being resourceful in the way you find a solution.
  • Having a working knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards is considered a great asset for this role.
  • Actively respond to service requests from our clients in a timely manner based on pre-determined SLAs.
  • Self driven, self motivated and dedicated.
