Current Journeyperson rate is $40.93 --countless opportunities for growth, training and career advancement. PCL Builders is looking for carpenters and apprentices for projects in Northern Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan.

We’re also looking at what’s next for you and how we can help you build a career you’re proud of. We are seeking experienced Journeyperson, Carpenter Apprentices and Formfitters for projects in and around Northern Saskatchewan.

As a Carpenter or Apprentice in Saskatchewan, you will contribute to our team by:

  • Slab formwork and vertical concrete structure
  • Setting anchor bolts, precise measurements, and concrete foundations
  • Wood backing and various carpentry duties
  • Erecting and building scaffolding for access and concrete formwork decks.
  • Building hoardings and temporary shelters.
  • Completing task hazard assessments and maintain a safe work environment.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Apprentices should have skills appropriate to their years in the trade.
  • Understanding and the ability to follow safe work procedures and work within a crew accordingly.
  • General carpentry and/or concrete formwork experience, both engineered and freeform considered a key asset.
  • All Candidates require a valid SCOT ticket and END-USER fall protection ticket (Willing to train the right candidates)
