Wage Scales:
Level 1 - $23.14 - $26.37
Level 2 - $26.37 - $29.60
Level 3 - $29.60 - $32.83

The Opportunity:

In this role you will be ensuring the successful set up, operation and cleaning of our high performing machines that manufacture our product. Job Description & Duties

  • Maintain and operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Prepare capsules for drying
  • Troubleshoot encapsulation-related issues
  • Perform quality inspections and testing, including In-Process Checks (IPCs)
  • Perform startups, shutdowns, and line changeovers
  • Accurately complete all paperwork in a timely manner
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and maintain a clean work area
  • May be required to assist other production areas
  • Responsible to meet production deadlines
  • Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this job
  • Report all quality issues to department leadership
  • Follow and adhere to all given instructions including work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
  • Assist in the development of Work Procedures (WPs) and SOPs for the Encapsulation Department
  • Strictly adhere to and observe all safety policies as outlined in the company policies and training sessions
  • Other duties as assigned
In this role you will:
  • Manufacture quality soft gel capsules
  • Maintain and operate encapsulation machines, accessories and rooms
  • Be responsible for conducting pre-operational checks on equipment
  • Monitor the machine during operation and perform in-process checks, making adjustments as necessary
  • Perform troubleshooting during production
You have:
  • Mechanical experience safely operating and setting up machines while using a diverse selection of hand tools
  • The ability to demonstrate safely working in a physically demanding environment where lifting up to 40lbs is a common occurrence
  • A cooperative, positive and willing attitude all while keeping good communication and behavior with co-workers and management
  • A keen focus on the little things and an understanding of the importance of attention to detail. You understand that no one thing can be overlooked, and there is no such thing as sacrificing quality.
  • The ability to work well on your own or co-operatively based off the needs of the business.
