Position Title: Meat Cutter
Location: Edmonton, A.B. (T6B 3N9)
Job Type: Full Time Permanent

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Production Manager, or designate, the Meat Cutter will be accountable for the processing and production of Beef, Pork, Lamb, and other protein products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cut product to our specifications and premium standards while maintaining and upkeeping safety standards.
  • Ensure the quality of the received product is up to standard and dates are correct before processing.
  • Package products to customer specifications.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are sterilized prior to the end of the shift to fulfill food safety requirements.
  • Ensure proper weight, description, and date is recorded on the products label.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Willingness to work with raw meat products.
  • Willingness to work in a cold environment.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks requiring lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing 30+ lbs. safely and effectively.
  • Physical fitness and stamina to sustain prolonged periods of activity, repetitive movements, and manual labor.
  • Previous work experience is an asset but not required.
  • Training will be provided.
  • Commitment to safety standards and practices.
